11/13/22 around 17:30 hours this evening, Taunton Engine 6, staffed and on the air, was activated for a move up assignment to the Northwest Fire District. Northwest units were operating at a working apartment fire in the Village of Baldwinsville. Engine 6 (LT. Martin) with Cars 1 (Chief Phelan) & 2 (Chief Amidon) handled the move up assignment but were subsequently requested to the scene of the fire. Engine 6’s crew provided the R.I.T. assignment and operated on scene for just over an hour and a half before returning to service. While Engine 6 was operating in Baldwinsville, staffed Taunton crews handled two in district alarms.
