7/11/22 at 21:10 Taunton was alerted to a Residential Fire in the 4800 block of Sherwood Drive in the Taunton Fire District. Taunton Engine 4, Engine 6, Rescue 1, Miscellaneous 1 along with Car 1, Car 2 and Car 3 responded from Taunton with companies from Fairmount Fire Department, Solvay Fire Department and Lakeside Fire District. Taunton Car 2 (Chief Amidon) arrived to find fire showing from the attic. Taunton Engine 4 arrived first due and made entry and suppressed any visible fire and contained it to the attic only. Taunton units cleared around midnight.
