1/7/19 at 1534hrs Car 1, Car 2, Ladder 5 and Rescue 3 responded to 115 Gulf Rd in the Fairmount Fire District for a reported residential fire. Cars 1 and 2 arrived 3 minutes after dispatch with smoke showing and a female on the roof, reporting a working fire. The 2 chiefs were able to safely remove the female from the roof. Ladder 5 arrived 4min after dispatch behind the Fairmount engine and was assigned vertical ventilation while the rescue crew was tasked with laddering the structure. The fire was suppressed in 10min and the occupant was evaluated for minor injuries.
