Solvay Residential Fire

6/6/21 at 1818hrs Cars 1 and 3 along with Engine 6 responded to a reported residential fire in the 100blk of Charles Ave in the Solvay Fire District. Car 1 arrived to find a 2 1/2 story single family residence with an active fire in the rear of the house. Car 1 established command and reported a working fire. Car 3 assumed interior operations. Engine 6 arrived and performed fire suppression and assisted with overhaul operations. The fire was contained to the rear addition and crews remained on scene for approximately 1 1/2hrs.
